My husbands partner/best friend is getting married in Vegas this July and they asked me to make their “save the date” cards and wedding invitations. I put a lot of stress on myself because I wanted to make them perfect, simple yet elegant. I have 75 wedding invites to make and this is what I came up with:

It was A TON of work! I used Ivory card stock and made gate folds for the invite. I cuttle bugged “Birds and swirls” the top and bottom leaving the middle blank fort the ‘belly band” the band has a strip of tacky tape and clear glass micro beads. The Heart is a marvy punch and dot embossed.
The reply cards are coordinated with the invite using the heart punch with dotted embossing popped up for dimension.
I think they came out pretty and would certainly never do any work that I wouldn’t want to use for my own wedding. ALOT OF WORK THOUGH!
The “save the date” cards were more fun and informal and we wanted to do a “Vegas- theme” This is what I came up with…The inside has a deck of cards sprawled out with information regarding travel arrangements… I got the dice/polka chip brads from oriental trading co- sooo cute!

Well most of you (if anyone even reads this blog) know that I love my Bellas. Today I was feeling a little creative and took the Beachabella stamp and turned her into an “Easter Playboybunnybella!” I know it is sought of twisted for Easter but..cute nonetheless. I made this for my hubby. (Sure wish I looked like her)

I added her tail and ears and removed her sunglasses. I tried to make em’ fluffy using tulip puffy paint but doubt you could see that in the picture. I omitted the beach blanket and have her holding a sparkly egg instead. The beach basket is now an Easter basket with glittery (stickles) eggs that I hand drew. I turned the bikini into a leopard suit et voila! I think she came out pretty cute! TFL!!

Since I have been sick for the last 2 weeks I thought I could at least be productive and make a card or two with some stamps I have not used yet… I broke out one of my favorite stamp manufacturers MFT stamp sets “Time for Bubbly” and “Lets go for a walk” I used my favorite prismacolor pencils and paint thinner to color the images and I’m pretty satisfied with the results.

For some reason, I felt the above card needed to be “re-worked” so I changed it a bit and now that it is done… I think I should have kept well enough alone… Here is versions 2:

This is the first ever “Bind It All” project and I did a lot of cussing! My O Wire is too small so I have to order larger and redo the binding but…C’est la vie!
I wanted to make this Italian Cookie Recipe Book for my mother. There are 10 cookie recipes inside (mostly my favorites) and I know she will love it- she better since I put countless hours into this! Not too shabby for the first attempt,
The stamp set is Voilà by SU and I drew the cookies on the tray since it seemed fitting. Hope they look yummy. I took a picture of one of the inside pages on top and the cover (closer up below) I made a lot of mistakes since this was my first time doing a home made book- but I won’t point them out

Love my “Skin Deep ” Set by Technique Tuesday. I wanted to use the tribal band too but had trouble with the layout- keeping it simple has never been easy for me. I cuttle bugged the white- leaving the middle bare for the sentiment which is actually from Kitchen Sink - 3 step hearts and roses set. The wings are glittery with stickles and the heart is glossy with liqued appliqué. Photos never seem to do it justice. I actually like this years Valentines Day card for the hubby. Its personalized and very rock star

Speaking of Rock Star.. Went to Foxwoods casino this weekend and stopped dead in my tracks when I saw this in the window! Had to take a picture - I love BONO!! They weren’t selling the poster in the window only the T-sheets:)

I made a card for each of my sisters using the MFT “How Sweet it is” set. I personalized each of them with letter tiles/beads and colored them all in with the MM Markers by SU. I think they came out cute and I’m sure the girls will love em

I couldn’t waist to play with my new “3 Step Hearts & Roses” by Kitchen Sink Stamps. Such pretty results every time and the roses are the most realistic you will get from rubber stamps!
